Kenilworth Castle
He inherited Kenilworth Castle upon the death of Henry his brother whilst Prince.
It was once at heart of huge hunting grounds where Charles and his father James used to hunt.
The Castle was used as a base on way to the eventual battle of Edge Hill by Charles and Royalists.

Kenilworth Castle is indeed a fairy tale Castle. It's beauty eclipses many of the dramas that happened back in time.
As a visitor it has to have one of the friendliest crews of all the castles in the UK. A pleasure to always see.
The site is well marked and informative and the all important cafe for a day out for family spot on.
A bonus also being open until 6pm
