Moat House - Tamworth

King James I and Charles his son visited Tamworth. James stayed at the Castle.

Charles stayed here when Prince of Wales where entertainment was put on in his honour.

An iconic ceiling decorated for his visit by the Comberford family exists to this day.

Thanks to it's dedicated owners Donald & John it is being restored to it's former glory for future generations to admire and to be entertained in.

Serving the community once again as the Comberford family did originally when their home.

I'm sure the King enjoyed his visit.
